Randy and Joseph have been busy straightening the shelves to make room for more fabric! I've had them marking down some of the Christmas fabrics, so now is the time to stock up for next year's projects. (I think they're both working extra hard to get on my nice list!)

Note from Randy - In this time of celebration, joy, and gift giving - it is prudent to remember all things are viewed through the lenses of perspective. It came into focus many years ago with that bastion of capitalism -eBay. It appears a "used sticky note" was up for bid - complete with a slightly yellow tattered picture, the item, needless to say, it was not at the top of my "Wish List for Santa", but it did receive bids and eventually sold for $1.76.
At the same time there was a person selling "friendship". the purchaser would receive two motivational emails, a phone call, plus birthday, get well, and holiday cards for the period of one year. This also sold for $1.10.
Janet believed the two instances were unrelated and thought the "friendship" service was a genuine effort to help others - to give of oneself to someone that may have had few friends or was very lonely.
My take on the "friendship" - it was a guy - he was probably trying to pick up girls. As for value - well less face it - his 'friendship" was worth less than a a used "post it note"! And we have the statistics to support it $1.76 vs $1.10. See I told you they were related! My point - you never know just how things are perceived by others.
The smallest act of kindness can be magnified into great and wonderful things....just my perspective.
