Labor Day Sale!
Labor Day is here! Summer is over! Where has this year gone? I don't know about you, but I'm not ready for fall - except for the cooler weather and I don't mean snow! I'm not even finished with my Spring cleaning!
I guess some things just never change. Do we ever catch up in life? My mother tells me that I can sleep when I'm gone, so I guess I have to keep moving. Oh course she's given up housework - says it's not good for one's health. I think this is conflicted thinking, but she's got more years of wisdom and experience than I do and after all shouldn't you listen to your mother? (I think I have told my children this, but this type of logic does not work on them yet.)
Anyway, back to Labor Day. I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend. I tried to convince Randy to take a drive into the mountains, but alas, he's doing home improvement and I'm updating the store product tables and doing a bit of sewing. I did manage to talk him into breakfast out, then a bit of shopping. No the shopping was not for me - I only shop for food and fabric! Is there really anything else? Randy is now the proud owner of five new shirts. I tried to get him to purchase the pink and blue plaid, but alas I was unsuccessful. Randy is really not much of a fashion plate, but he believes in using everything up or getting the "goody" out of everything. Below you can see that he is very resourceful when using up anything - including fabric scraps! I thought I would fall over when I saw he "new" suspenders. I could not resist asking for a picture - anyone need to rent out a clown? I know this is not the full outfit, but don't you think it's a good start?
Enough fun at Randy's expense. Believe me he's a very sensitive guy and I can only poke the bear so much if you know what I mean.

I've already updated the prices in the webstore and there's a great selection available. The sale will be good in both the store and online, but will end at the start of business on Monday, September 14th. So enjoy your Labor Day and have fun play in the fabrics.
