The wait is over! Block one of the Kaffe Fassett Mystery Quilt has arrived and available for pick-up. I have created a listing of everyone that pre-registered for the program and the list will be the control record for pick-up. If you are registered for August, your kit will not arrive until then.
Please pick your first kit up before the end of March as I do have a Waiting List for the program. If you name is not on the pick-up log, you will not be allowed to pick-up a kit. I will attempt to contact anyone who has not picked up or made arrangements to ship their Block One Kit beginning April 2nd 2018. If I am unable to contact you by the end of the week (Saturday April 7, 2018) I will notify the first person on the Waiting List a Kit One Block has become available.
If we are shipping your kit, please call the shop at 770-781-0001 (between 10am - 5pm (Tues - Fri hours), 10am - 4pm Saturday or 2pm - 5pm on Mondays) in order to finalize shipping and payment details for the program. Please do not email your credit card information nor mail cash as these are not secure methods for cash nor confidential information.
In a related matter, 15 Pastel Kits are here and available now if you did not preregister for the program and want a March start date contact the shop and will we can resister you for this colorway. I have ordered extra kits in the light and dark colorways that will come in August. If you would like to participate in the program with an August start date, please contact the shop and we will register you for the program. As of now, they have not arrived, but you can preregister and these will arrive in August 2018. Please note that the unreserved August kits are limited and Free Spirit has closed all ordering for the program. In plain English - we can not get anymore.
Finally, as a reminder all of you registered for the August Group, you will receive 6 blocks in one batch shipping... Take note - this is a lot of fabric at once, but with all the turmoil associated with the turnover of the company , Free Spirit was trying to allow everyone (the group in April and the Group in August) to all be current by the time Block 7 is released. Hope you August people like to sew - and sew a lot!! The last 3 months (Blocks 7,8,9) are planed to be released on a monthly basis.
Free Spirit will ship all new kits around the 15th of each month. We appreciate the prompt pick-up of the kits as store space to store them is very limited (as most of you know since Janet will not stop ordering fabric!).
All of you now know what I know. Should anything change I will notify you via email. I am not sure Free Spirit had this much "mystery" in mind when they originally proposed this particular mystery quilt.
