Welcome to New Neighbors!
Life as been insane lately with trips between eastern N. C. and Atlanta. And the weather! Hot! Hot! Hot! Randy actually is suffering from heat exhaustion and is resting at home. Tina and Joseph have done an admirable job in keeping the shop going while Randy and I have been away. I will have one more trip to make this month, then I hope to be home for a couple months before having to go back. I knew I was getting old, but this 10 hour trip (one way) has made me realize just how much. Anyhow, let me introduce our new neighbor.
Vector Quilts has opened a store front next door. Vector is owned by David Gilleland whose love is paper piecing. David's quilt designs are innovative and unique. In addition to teaching his patterns, David is a HandiQuilter dealer and offers longarm services. Be sure and stop by and say hello to David and Jacob.
As summer is quickly drawing to an end and everyone has started back to school or at least thinking about it, we are looking forward to our next holiday - Labor Day. We will be closed on Labor Day, Monday September 2nd.
